FROM monster trucks to monster appetites, Dungog Show is shaping up as another beauty this year.
“We are excited to have a Monster Truck and Stunt Jeep team hitting the main arena on Saturday, 14 November,” said show president, Jeanie Briggs-Seers.
“All of our usual favourites will be here, with Demo Derby on track, Ka-boom’s spectacular fireworks display, and the Camel Cup.”
Among the new additions to the program are a Pie-eating Contest and a Junior Whip Cracking Competition, ensuring there’s plenty of action around the grounds.
Unfortunately, there will be no poultry competition due to the bird flu outbreak.
However, the show will again host the Zone Beef Parade on Friday, 13 November for producers looking to qualify for Sydney’s Royal Easter Show.
Post splitting, the Dachshund Dash and the crowd favourite Dog High Jump will also be back.
“Those who love a cuppa and scone will be happy to hear the CWA are serving their tasty treats under the grandstand this year,” Ms Briggs-Seers said.
“There’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to see our community come together again for the 2026 Dungog Show.”
