Changed traffic conditions on Stroud Hill Road, Dungog

MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Stroud Hill Road at Cooreei Bridge, Dungog, for essential maintenance work.

Transport for NSW is planning to start work to rehabilitate Cooreei Bridge in early 2026.

In preparation for this, early work is being carried out including vegetation clearing and delivery of materials.

This early work will be carried out from Monday 1 December to Wednesday 24 December from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday.

Traffic control, stop/slow traffic arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours.

Please allow up to five minutes extra travel time.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

“Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time,” it said in a statement.
