VENDORS and crafters are being invited to take part in a Community Market Fair set to run across two days in East Gresford on Saturday 17 January and Sunday 18 January 2026.
The Community Market Fair will be held at 12 Park Street.
It provides a weekend opportunity for makers, creatives and small businesses to showcase their products to the local community.
Event organisers seek a wide range of stallholders, including metal works, beauty and wellness products, woodworking, youth crafts, jewellery, food, performers and other creative offerings.
Event organiser Elizabeth Smith said the market has been carefully structured to ensure a balanced and diverse mix of stalls for visitors.
“We are taking only one vendor per category of items or services to minimize competition and overcrowding the market with similar items,” Ms Smith said.
“All spaces will be reserved on [a] first come first serve basis.”
Ms Smith said the approach would help create a better experience for both stallholders and shoppers, while giving individual businesses greater exposure.
Set-up for vendors will begin from 8.30am each day, with pack-down scheduled for 5pm.
Event organisers have confirmed there will be sufficient overnight security in place, allowing stallholders to leave items on site between the Saturday and Sunday trading days if required.
A vendor fee of $50 applies for the full weekend, while food vendors will be charged $70.
Each stallholder will be provided with an eight-foot table, three chairs and access to electricity as part of the fee.
Interested vendors are encouraged to reach out early to secure a place.
When making contact, applicants are asked to send a direct message outlining what they currently sell or intend to offer at the market.
The Community Market Fair aims to provide a relaxed, family-friendly environment while supporting local makers and small businesses across the region.
